Glimpses of spectacular views from @visitgrosmorne. Unlike @nodingodo (go check out her posts) most of my day yesterday was in a conference room with some amazing folks @craftcouncilnl #sustainablefibreartsconference2024. Re-connecting with fibre people from my past distant past like Susan Galloway. Getting to know fibre people in real life like @melaniepaulin.art, @stephaniekincade, @kristifarrier, and @fullofwoolfibreart. Seeing craft friends and colleagues from across the region like @nortons_cove, @blackcrowpottery, @shawnkohagan, @bybrunovinhas, @bethanymackenzie, and so many others. And being introduced or made aware of fibre people from all over the world. Such a great start to the conference!

On our way. @woodshedpress and I made the trek from Port George and @townofwolfville to North Sydney. We are safely onboard @maferries, and ready to make the crossing to @newfoundlandlabrador. Looking forward to a couple of stops, including @shawnkohagan, and @grenfellcampus before heading to @visitgrosmorne for the @craftcouncilnl #sustainablefibreartsconference2024. Will you be there?
